We headed north through Sedona to play at Slide Rock Park.  It was gorgeous, but we knew the water would be chilly.  We decided to risk it any way.  The drive was totally amazing.  Windows down, sun shining, rushing river below us... it was perfection.

It was a short line to get in and $20 covered our entire car.  We unloaded and made the trek down the paved path.  It was a pretty easy walk.  I ended up wearing the baby in the mei tai. Worked fine.  The stairs at the end were not too bad going down, but we knew Tom would have to pace himself so he could make it back up.  The rocks weren't too bad either.  Once down to the river, it was easy to get in and out of the river, even for the babies.  The wetter rocks were slippery but fine if you had on your water shoes!

The kids enjoyed the entire afternoon and went down the slide many times.  They jumped off the rocks, floated down the river, hung on the bridge and searched for snakes and critters.

Overall, amazing afternoon!
