Wandering the World: Paicines, California
The drive into Paicines was not bad at all. We drove mostly through farm lands and it was beautiful.
We even stopped at Oakdale Dairy Farms!
We got to San Benito RV Resort and admittedly, it seemed desolate. Having come from Yosemite, which was buzzing with activity, it was so quiet and empty. The staff was super nice and helpful and there was a pool. It did make you appreciate the California drought though.
We picked a great spot under some gorgeous trees and got set up. The kids did all the unloading for Tom since it was father's day.
Well, our stay was short lived. No matter what we did, we could not keep our power on. If we were running the air conditioner, nothing, I mean NOTHING else could be on. Not the lights or TV or anything. There was also zero ATT cell service and our MIFI was still lost, so we were without cell or internet. It was frustrating to say the least.
On the upside, we met an awesome family who had seen us online during our family bed stuff. They were traveling fulltime as well and it was so much fun to just sit and hang out and chat!
