Review: Wilderness Lakes Thousand Trails

Review: Wilderness Lakes Thousand Trails

We find it helpful to read others reviews of RV parks and State Parks and so we do them as well! We do not get anything for them, it is simply our thoughts and experiences as a big family with lots of young children!

Name:  Wilderness Lakes RV Resort

Location: Menifee, California

Nearby: San Diego, Los Angeles, Joshua Tree National Park

Cost: TT Members- $0

Accessibility: Easy to get to!

Roads: Paved and nice.  Some gravel, but well kept

Sites:  Not much by way of aesthetics.  Just gravel pull in sites.  We were in the back.  The front sites were a little better.  Zero privacy though.

Bathrooms: Fine.  We had issues with the showers backing up and all the drains were connected, but it was busy when we were there.

Staff: Good!  Didn't see much of them, but they did staff the gate 24 hours a day which was nice.

Cell/Internet: Good for both ATT and Verizon.

Campfire: Yup!

Closest Walmart: Shopping was pretty close.  The Target was closer than Walmart, but it wasn't much further.  It is in a suburban area.

Kid Friendly: Yeah... pool was awesome, family lodge, playground, biking, you name it!

Additional Thoughts:  It wasn't the prettiest of preserves, but it was fine and certainly met our needs in a bigger city area!
